Throughout Vietnam many ancient Shiva Lingas have been found, dating back thousands of years. This is further proof of the vast extent of Vedic culture throughout the world. We will soon be including some articles on the ancient lost Hindu temples of Vietnam, but in the meantime we offer some pictures showing some of the many Shiva Lingas found throughout Vietnam.
The first set of pictures are from the ruins of ancient My Son Vedic temple in Vietnam:

The next photos are from the ruins of the ancient Cat Tien Vedic temple. These artifacts are now held in the National Museum of Vietnam History. Cat Tien archaeological site is an archaeological site located in Cat Tien National Park, which was accidentally discovered in 1985.

The more Shiva lingas and Vishnu murthis (like the ones found in Vietnam now) we find throughout the world – where they still can be found if they haven’t been destroyed – the stronger the proof of our dharm’s ubiquitousness in the glorious days past and its supreme relevance to the present & future.
This is extraordinary. This is evidence enough to show the common faith of the ancient world. The influence of Hinduism over a large part of asia.

Our Hindu religion was The only one religion presented at that time… According to “Bhavishya Puranas” Tripurasura when killed by SHIVA, he took another birth as “mahamda” later named as Mohammad. He found muslim religion and now rest is everything that we know… Shivalinga and related things were also found in ARAB countries like afghan… admin plz do let me know the truth behind all… THANK YOU
This SHIVALINGA was originally fire originator, that creats fire and can be controlled, please admin I need to know the evidences behind this
Few seems to be ancient Shiva Lingas.Second one appears, perhaps, like a Buddhists ‘Stupa’. Few are of course at an ancient temple site.Had it been with added archaeological details. it would have been nice. Otherwise one may feel they have been brought from elsewhere and kept it in Musium, However relics are ancient reflecting on ancient history & culture. If it actually belong to Vietnam, of course, the entire Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia have had ancient influence of Indian civilization and culture.Good effort indeed.
