Guest guest
Namaste respected grouop members, I have a seven year old daughter who has had leukodermia for the past five years. She has been treated with steroids and an imun suppressing cream. Both caused the pigment to return. As soon as we stopped using them though the spots came back and came back huge. I have also used bakuchi - i noticed that this was very effective, but very slow. The spots that went away with bakuchi have never come back. I wanted her to also take pigmento - an ayurvedic tablet but she refuses to take anything orally. I would love to hear experiences of those who have successfully treated this condition. Thanks Mandakini
Guest guest
dear Mandakini may God help you. as a physician I can help you as I have treated several patients suffering from the same problem.please provide me detailed history of your daughter, which will include begining of disorder, diet habits, motion habits and her general condition, and I will suggest you some medicines which are very safe {not immuno suppressent}. and if you are near DELHI or NCR try to meet me, as this will help me to examine well and prescribe in better way. I am running my clinic in DELHI which is purely unani {HAKIMI},and I prepare my own medicines for the clinic thats why I get more success during the treatment. regards. Guest guest
Thank you for your reply. I live in Canada. I would like to learnmore about unani medicine. Can you suggest any good books? She started with a small spot on herleft knee. We then took her for steroid treatment. It got rid of the spot but when we stopped it came on the fingers and the spot on the knee got larger.\ I stared using bakuchi. After a year it got rid of some of the spots on the feet and one on the elbow. She does not seem to be getting new spots - she is seven. She has them on the finger tips and toe tips. Ankles and knees. Hair is brown in the knees still. She used to get angry and cry very easily. She is very smart and wise beyond her years - started talking in sentences when she was eight months old and walked at nine months. Started school when she was two. Does all house work and takes care of her three sibblings. She is very spiritual. Pitta type girl regular digestion. Does not fall ill very often at all and recovers in a a day from any cold or flu. Has a negative self image and can get very angry with herself if she feels she is not"good" we encourage her a lot she is very artistic also. She is running sade sat and I stronly feel she will overcome this when the saturn transit is over. Bakuchi has been helpful andshee likes it. The skin where the pigment is affected is a bit thinner and drier. She was very interested in the nonni juice when I showed her the pictures. Any advice you wish to share would be great. Thanks Mandakini Oh diet is good she likes fruits and vegetables - does not like packaged foods likes rice and curd with a bit of pickle likes salt more than sweet likes milk likes sambar onions we are vegetarian shelikes all natural foods and whole foods ____________ as a physician I can help you as I have treated several patients suffering from the same problem.please provide me detailed history of your daughter, which will include begining of disorder, diet habits, motion habits and her general condition, and I will suggest you some medicines which are very safe {not immuno suppressent}...... _____________ > my seven year old daughter had > leukoderma for the past five years. > treatment with steroids and an immun > suppressing cream caused the pigment to return. ..... Guest guest
dear Mandakini may God help you and your daughter. I am very sorry that you can not use my prescribed unani medicine, as unani madicines are not available in CANADA. After all Bakuchi is well for the same problem you should powder it and then get its infusion.give her this infusion oraly as syrup and use the rest {wet powder}as paste on the spots once daily for a very short time. with this use any hepatoprotective medicine like Liv 52. this give you very quik response. I am not writting any name of unani medicine as these are not available in Canada. I will welcome you if you here in India any time. may God help you. regards.
