H.H. Bhakti Svarup Damodar Swami Maharaj

Dear Maharajas/Prabhus,

 

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

 

The body of H.H. Bhakti Svarup Swami Maharaj arrived at Delhi Airport from

Kolkata at 5.30 P.M. More than 100 devotees including congregation devotees

were present at the airport along with H.H. Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj

and H.H. Lokanath Swami Maharaj. Kirtan was performed on arrival by the

devotees. The body of Maharaj was garlanded by the Maharajas and the senior

devotees. Some VIPs were also present at the Airport who also garlanded.

Thereafter the body was placed in an air-conditioned ambulance. Some of the

disciples of H.H. Bhakti Svarup Damodar Swami Maharaj accompanied the body

in the ambulance to Vrindavan. When the ambulance started all the devotees

started chanting and weeping with emotion.

 

H.H. Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj and H.H. Lokanath Swami Maharaj also went

in a car following the ambulance to Vrindavan. Two buses with full of

disciples of Maharaj from Manipur and other places also went to Vrindavan

with the ambulance. The body will reach Vrindavan at about 9 P.M. and will

remain in Krishna Balaram Mandir overnight. On the 4th October morning,

after Mangal Arati, the body will be taken on parikrama of the Temple and

the samadhi of Srila Prabhupada. Thereafter the body will be taken to Radha

Kund. The body will be taken for parikrama of Radha Kund with thousands of

devotees and disciples of Maharaj. At 1.30 P.M. the Samadhi ceremony will

start.

Temple President of Manipur, H.G. Ajit Das. Any further information when
