Guest guest
Dear Haribhaktas, I have been reading mails on various issues being discussed here. I have my own thoughts about Madhva boys attending gurukula rather than schools and colleges and the issue of duties of Madhva Grihastas. I would like to draw the attention of all the Madhvas here to the issue of Swamiji(s) heading various Maths. I can recollect 3 unfortunate incidents in the recent past that has pained me a lot. 1. The Junior Swamiji of Raghavendra Swamy Mutt resigning from the position. 2. The uproar over the appointment of Junior Swamiji at Vyasaraja Mutt of Sosale, and 3. The uproar over the appointment of Junior Swamiji at Vyasaraja Mutt of Kundapur. I am sure that many people are aware about the background of the Junior Swamiji (he is a small boy of 12 years) and that his appointment as the Junior Swamiji to the Kundapur Vyasaraja Mutt has been quashed by the High court and the Supreme court. I am also sure that this incident has been an embarassment to the madhva community. Similarly, there are protests over the appointment of the Junior Swamiji of Sosale Vyasaraja Mutt. In the 1st case, The Mantralaya Mutt Swamiji chose a worthy successor in Shri Guru Venkatachar. He is a scholar par excellence and needs no introduction. Unfortunately, he was forced out by some selfish elements in our community. Such incidents are not good for our community. I urge all the people to give this issue a serious thought and do something so that such issues do not happen. We have to be role models for other communities considering that we have a guru like Sri Madhvacharya and his teachings. We are all dutybound to only make good use of the heritage that we have inherited from such a guru and his teachings. It would be a sin that has to pardon to indulge in bringing all this to disrepute. I may please be excused if I have hurt anybody's feelings in the process of putting my thoughts across on this forum. My intention is not to hurt anybody. Thanking you, Hariye Namaha. Guest guest
Namaskara, You have raised a points which are fact. Thats nice. PrAnaDEvaru is watching all of the things happenings here. Definetly he has a reason to do the things which are beyong our knowledge. I think we need to put our best efforts to improve our Madhwa community and should create an interest and enthu for the next generation to learn more about our philosophy which is slowly neglected day to day. Infact I have seen many families in bangalore whose children are not aware of philosophyh and rules and regulation because of their parents has no importance to our philisophy in their day to day life. They have very much adopted western culture. I think we need to address this in our community instead of addressing the politics happening in the mutts. If just expressed my own feelings , not hurt any one. Guest guest
I feel observing Ekadashi on a same day by all groups the in Madwa community may also strenghten the community. When the community is strong as a one group many of the issues that is facing us today may be kept under control."Bheemasena Rao.Y" <raocan wrote: Namaskara, You have raised a points which are fact. Guest guest
This is very true. Housekeeping of community starts at one's house first. Realising the value of Philosophy and passing it on to our kids are more important. I am not requesting to be fanatics here. The first email from Pavan is very well addresses the issue. The second email says where we need to start and what we need to do. Now it is our us to follow. If we fail, we pay the price. Regards."Bheemasena Rao.Y" <raocan wrote: Namaskara, You have raised a points which are fact. Thats nice. PrAnaDEvaru is watching all of the things happenings here.
