Sri Madvirat Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra Swami is one of the well-known sages in Indian history. He possesses the knowledge of past, present and future. He is often called as the “Nostradamus of India”. His forecastings have all proven correct. He forecasts events to happen up to the end of Kaliyuga starting from his reign, where most of the predictions have come true and continue to happen.
Sri Veerabrahmendra Swami was born of a pious couple, Paripoornayya Acharya and Prakruthamba, at the hermitage of Atri Muni on the bank of River Saraswathi in UP. There is no historical evidence about Veerabrahmam’s exact date of birth but it is believed he was born before the fall of the Chola dynasty (around the 9th Century AD) as he mentioned in his prophecies that the “Downfall of Chola dynasty will happen”. He also mentioned that, “swetha mukham people will rule the land”. The British East India emerged in India in the 1600’s and so it is also evident that his prediction should have been much before. People wouldn’t have accepted the predictions if he had mentioned the past or ongoing incidents at that time of his existence.

Later Sri Veerabrahmendra was adopted by the Papaghni Peetham of the Mysore state. There, at the age of 11, he composed the Kalikamba Sapthashathi, a manuscript written in praise of goddess Kalikamba. He stayed there till his twelfth year and then proceeded on a tour of various places in the country.
On his tour, he visited many sacred places and shrines and performed serve penance at Hariharapuram (Harihara). Then he went to Banaganapalle in Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh. Here he started writing the book “Kalagyanam”, of over 14,000 prophecies and spiritual teachings as a cowherd in the house of Garimireddi Atchamma. He lived here for about 20 years. After he left Banaganapalle and reached Kandimallayapalle in Kadapa district and married a pious woman Govindamma.
During his stay at Kandimallyapalle, he selected Siddyya, a muslim, and Kakkayya, a harijan, as his main disciples and imparted spiritual knowledge to one all, irrespective of caste, creed, sex, religion and region. Besides, he also taught the scriptures to the Muslin rulers of that period (Nawabs) and persuaded them to respect all the other religions.
He has written a lot of books on palm leaves. All these palm leaf books tell the future of the world till the end of Kaliyuga. These books tell us about how people get transformed in coming years. He forecasts the political, social and economic changes that will occur in society; biological and physiological changes that will occur in plant and animal kingdoms; geographical changes, wars, explosions, etc. The knowledge in these books is called as “Kalagyanam” (Knowledge of Time). He named his texts of prophecies as ‘Govinda Vakyas’ (statements of Lord Govinda).
People started listening to his chantings and philosophical poems and with due respect, called him ‘Sri Madvirat Pothuluri Veera Brahmendra Swami’.
It is credited that he predicted such things as the birth of Gandhi and his freedom movement and the rule of Mrs. Indira Gandhi in free India. Ramakrishna Hegde, M.G.R and NTR to rule in democracy. He predicted the Kurnool floods. According to his followers, almost 90 percent of his predictions came true. The much publicised Yaganti Basavaiah (Temple Bull) to live and shout aloud is yet to happen. There are many stories in Andhra Pradesh about his life.
Sri Veerabrahmendra Swamy went into “Sajeeva Samadhi” in the year 1694 AD on Vaishaka Shuddha Dashami at Kandimallayapalle in Kadapa Dist., Andhra Pradesh state. Later it is called as “Bramhamgari Mattam”. As per original texts, Brahmamgaru had said that “After spending 175 years, today on Suddha Dashami day in Vaisaka month of kaliyuga 4094, I enter into samadhi.” Say, we are now in Kali 5118. If so, his samadhi year was in April, 992 AD and the birth year was 817 AD.
According to his prophecies, in the later period of Kaliyuga, Veerabrahmendra Swamy would take rebirth as Veera Bhoga Vasantharayulu and rule for 108 years. Further, he has said, “At the time I will come with full powers as Kalki, Kandimallaiyapalle would have developed into a big city and a Navaratna mandapam equivalent to Booloka Kailasam would be built.”
Below are the some of the wonderful words written by Sri Veera Brahmendra Swamy in Kalagyanam.
bhahyaa vishayamulakai, parigetthinaavante
yedipinchi neepai swaari jesenu,
paramaathma vaipuna, manasu nilipaavante
prakruthe nee paadha seva chesenu
The meaning of this poem is:
“If you always think & run towards the material things in this world, the nature will make you cry in all ways… but If you always think & pray to God, lead a life by meditating on the supreme Lord, with full heart, then the nature will be at your service by bestowing you everything like health, wealth, name, fame, respect, peaceful life, etc.”
Very important information. If possible, inform small paras/portions of the info about future from his writings.
After raising expectations of some predictions of the current times, the write up ends. I am sure there will be some juicy bits and hope the author will share them …..
The editor needs to be applauded for this article on the saint Veerabrahmendra Swamy. It will be wonderful if some more prophecies of his are provided too. Regarding the one about his rebirth and gaining the powers of Kalki, has the time of his arrival been provided? Is it between now and 29th century AD? In my humble opinion it is the experience of Purushottama [of Gita/15/16-18] that would make one located in our perishable world entitled anyone to be called a Kalki. In fact it is the experience of Purushottama to any jeeva that can be termed as manifestation [Avatarana] of Kalki.
I say that based on my research of certain revelations , called ‘Taaratam Vaan’i [TV in brief] that had manifested in 17th century India via one known by his title as Mahamati Prananath and his satguru, Shri Devacgandra ji. TV contains 18758 divine verses uttered in several languages of India as prevalent then [not in Sanskrit]. These outline a divine plan of God, the Purushottama, that was not earlier made available to the world at large. TV outlines that plan. As per it He has planned to reward a large number of highly evolved aspirants by letting them have audiences with Him during a very narrow time-span of 1200 years from the time TV manifested [say, up to 29th century].
After that [that is, after only about 6000 years of Kaliyuga have elapsed], says TV, the golden new age of spirituality shall arrive – much before the allotted time of 432,000 years, as per Bhagawatam. This shall happen, TV says, on account of an unprecedented intervention of the Purushottama in our Kshara Brahmanda that it reveals at length in the verses of TV.
Did the saint provide any prophecy about above happenings in 17th century or even this most unprecedented time-span of 1200 years?? It would be of great interest.

Brahmmamgaaru mentioned that at the time of his arrival a Navarathna Mandapam would have been built at Kandimallayapalle. Yes, this was built in 2004 by a Chennai based Viswabrahmin Sri Patnala Sanyasi Rao. Also, he said, when I acquire powers from Lord Shiva and come, I will trigger disasters in Karthika Masam. Yes, the first Tsunami happened in Dec 2004.
I am the author of Tamil book “ஸ்ரீ வீரப்பிரம்மேந்திரர் வாழ்க்கை வரலாறும் தீர்க்கதரிசனமும்” Rs.225/-. Vijaya Publications, Coimbatore. The birth/samadhi years of swami that you read in the above article are excerpts from my book and my net article. Another important fact is that he has set the stage for Kali yuddham. He notified this to me in my dream in 2016. As many white horses, elephants, red kangaroos are running in batches in the sky (as if a road was there) and I heard an oracle ‘Kali yuddham’. I woke up. This I have incorporated in my Tamil book as a visual illustration.
Sri Veerabrahmmam is the incarnation of Siddhar BOGAR, a Viswakarma whose sishya was PULIPPAANI. This sishya reincarnated as Siddhaiya. See the video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Jca5e6ZAi4
Thanks . Pranams to his holy feet.
There will be no third world war. Lord Kalki or Sree Veerabhoga Vasantharaya as was predicted by Sree Veerabrahmendra Swamy a reincarnation of Lord Vishnu would be born in the Telugu New Year Vishwavasu in the Year 2025. He would be born to Vishnuyasha and Sumati as predicted in the Kalki Purana who would be his parents. India would progress tremendously under Lord Kalki. India will become a spiritual and economic superpower by 2044.
