My Teacher is Korean Buddhist monk and a doctor of acupuncture with licenses from Korea, China and Mongolia. Now he lives in Mongolia but wants to move to Europe or North of Africa. With some good help we have discovered that it is difficult to get a license in France bcs he needs to study French about 3 years and then he needs to study as a doctor there at the university and pass exams and it will take more than 6 years total or even more. We would really love to get some help about any information where it is easier to get an acupuncture license in Europe or North Africa. We understand that Europe includes many countries, that's why you can share any information about any country and we will combine all of this knowledge from you and choose the best one. As for quite the abbreviated "cliffnotes" version of a background: I started out as a harē kr̥ṣṇa in high school and, ironically, much much later after practicing Ashtanga and Vinyasa-style yoga for eight-and-half years, had not made any sort of connection with my Hindu past until recently after my former partner and best friend died of renal cell carcinoma. It's wonderful to be here and to have rediscovered this beautiful and rich tradition!

I just joined this forum yesterday day/ I have few questions about What happens after death? I have finished reading the Great Bhavat Gita about a month ago. It is quite interesting to read the Gita and felt like everyone should read it and try to understand the teachings of Lord Krishna. Since I know Sanskrit from my childhood, I was able to read both Tamil and Sanskrit versions. I am now coming to my question to learned audiences. One (like me) did not practice the Gayatri Mantra though it was taught to me in my childhood, which I felt at my old age, can I get the Nama Japam from a Guruji and practice it sincerely be able to attain my wishes? Since I missed this great opportunity, I am willing to have a rebirth as very sacred soul like Adi Sankara or St Thiagaraja Swamigal and live like a Sanyasi or Siddha Purusha and learn the Vedas, Upanishads, puranas and slogas etc so that I become deserved soul to reach the Lotus Feet of Lord Krishna. Is this a possible wish come true.I need to seek the blessings of learned Guruji. It may look funny to some, but it is my true wish. Thanks for all those who read this post and responses and guidances.

I am not throwing around the advanced expert names for the Gods, Worship and other aspects of working and I work with all of the aspects of the Hindu Dharma even sikhsism without being one but just exploring all of them in balance and without dividing as a true Mystic and what is mysticism is everything that leads toward the inner and outer cleansing and this process goes on eternally and is not going to be finished after a couple of some achievements. I am here not to spam but to share with all of you the experiences and discuss over all aspects of our path and everyday existence, I would like to send my sincere words of Loyalty and Love to the Adepts of the Hindu Dharma path as I will continue my progress naturally and without having any so called temples as this is not my aims, I am not a follower neither but I am loving the Hindu Faith truly and faithfully without making other traditions of Hindu Dharma less important and I work with all of them in balance, thank you for spending time and reading the message I left here with the best wishes for all of you on the path of Hindu Dharma. I have always been fascinated and intrigued by the drawings one finds on streets and pavements, even in homes . Some with graphic designs, geometric patterns, stars, flowers, triangles etc. They are done with chalk, paint, powder and whatever . They are commonly seen at high holidays like at Taipusam or Timithee. Is there a name for this "street art"? Are there particular designs used for particular reasons. Ive seen fresh flowers offered on top of the drawings. Is there a book I could read to learn more about this? Appreciate any information supplied .

In the present age of Kali yuga mantra japa is the yuga dharma, or main process for self realization. It is simple, requires no background qualification, and can be done anywhere at any time. Sit down in a peaceful place and silently chant your mantra. In the beginning start for 10 minutes, and gradually increase. The mind will become fixed and peaceful usually after 30 minutes, and then the more fruitful sadhana will start. Other options for sadhana are puja (worshipping a deity of God), meditation (dhyanam), svadhyaya (self study of scriptures), etc.

In last week of aug my wife commited suicide.she was pregnent. I dont know the real reason why she commited suicide.she was housewife,she was prepraing for govt job examination. After her death i came to know that she was in touch with a guy,but i still dont know who that guy is, she had cheated me.After knowing this still I love her, Still i am not beeing able to get out of pain of her loss. I still mis her every moment of my life, Some time i think i should also commit suicide. I had become regular drinker. I dont know how should i get out of this..plz help

Greatness of Kodi Mahaan - Baba======================== There was a Great Mahaan ,Kodi Swamigal,who was living in Puravipalayam.He lived for 450 years,whose grace i have completely received.He only will never eat anything..Devotees who come to him will bring food for Him & will feed Him. he will not eat that also & will keep in His mouth only. He will call a devotee who is sitting opposite Him ,He will point his hand & say "Umm" & will call Whoever He thinks in His mind & if that devotee goes near Him, He will spit the prasadam from his mouth in the devotees' hand.Till that time,He will never give. Once,A lady went to Kodi Swamy & said that she has got Chronic Ulcer of her stomach & had taken Medical Treatment,accordingly, without any result.So, She prayed that Swamy, Only should cure her ailment. Generally,when you go to a Great Mahaan, They keep tests for his devotees & only then, will they bestow their grace on them. Because Mahaans have struggled a lot, did a lot of penance & gained the Divine God's Grace,So the Mahaans will test ,whether the Devotees have the requisite qualification, for having come to HIm & to receive the Grace. So, When that brahmin lady was praying to Kodi Swamy.At the same time,Someone fed a fish in his mouth. immediately, kodi Swamy called the Brahmin lady ,for giving her the prasadam. That Lady was in a very Big dilemna. On the other side, If she acceps Kodi Mahaan's Prasadam,Her stomach ache & Chronic ulcer will get cured. but, if she accepts the prasadam,Then it will be a big disgrace for her community & kuladharma. Inspite of all this, ,that lady,went to the Swamy, closed her eyes tightly & prayed internally , " Swamy ,i dont know anything, I have beleived you & I have surrendered to you.So Whatever happens ,You are the only one for me & you only should take care of me." In this state, when she streched her hands, when kodi Mahaan spat the fish from his mouth , it became a chocolate on her hand. This is what is a MAHAAN'S GREATNESS!! Being Humans Yourself ,you are thinking of safeguarding your kuladharma .So, Mahaans who have sacrificed everything, who have come to uplift you, will never ever disgrace you. They will test the extent of you faith and only then, will they bestow their divine grace. Whatever work, a Mahaan does there will be some meaning to it. Please give respect for the prasadam given by Mahaans to you . When a son comes to his Mother's house & when his mother gives him food to eat, & if Her son does not accept it & goes without eating. Then that mother says" Eat atleast a mouthful of food, My Son"! So the mother feels very bad. So, in a similay way, Mahaans, for the devotees who come to HIM, HE thinks them as his children and gives them Prasadam. So, if you don't accept it Then, Mahaan's mother's heart will feel bad!!O There was another Great Mahaan, Yogi Ram Surat Kumar Swamigal (called Visiri swamigal, who was born in December in North India) who attained Samadhi at Thiruvannamalai in Feb. Once when i went to see Him. Devotees used to bring food for him. Once ,when a devotee brought rasam rice for Him, He fed me with rasam rice from his Thiruvodu ( vessel which he carries for alms)-cocunut shell.. He fed me with rice & later washed His hands in that Thiruvodu & made me drink that water. by that ,He transferred his Divine Energy to me, through the water.. So, stop analysing Mahaans! Mahaans very well know what to give, whome to give, when to give, how much to give, where to give. It is not important what a Mahaan gives you, but the real test is , to which extent you are receiving it with faith. Mahaans have no wants. They will not be affected by both Praise, Fame and Disgrace. They are loving towards everyone without any attachment. Love cuts the reason for the birth cycle. Simply go to www.Google.com and click on 'News' and type in 'Swaminarayan'. You will find dozens of articles related to scandals that monks from the other Swaminarayan organizations are involved in. None of them are connected to BAPS. If they were, there would have been police action and press coverage. The BAPS temple in Sarangpur is a haven for spiritual advancement. If you have been there, you would agree. "Don't kid yourselves. BAPS has plenty of corrupt saints as is so obvious in Neasden Temple." Again, you're proposing claims without any substantiation. What is wrong with the monks at the Nesden temple? BAPS monks have NEVER been involved in scandals. Give some concrete examples from a reliable source, and then I will believe you. "If Pramukh Narayanswarupdas was such a mighty saint why does He insist on being worshipped everywhere?" Once again, claims without substantiation. Give me a quote, a recording, or ANYTHING that shows why you believe this. Pramukh Swamiji has NOT EVEN ONCE insisted on being worshipped. It is his disciples who honor him because he is our spiritual Guru who leads us from darkness and ignorance to light and knowledge. He has NEVER insisted on being worshipped. He also never insisted on sitting on thrones or luxurious items. Rather, it is the wish of his disciples to provide him with those things out of our love for him. Remember, Pramukh Swamiji has been the Guru of the Swaminarayan faith for well over 40 years. In the 1960s, there were no such amenities yet he continued his mission of spreading the Vaishnava philosophy and the message of Swaminarayan just as much as he is doing now at the age of 85. "Ekantik Sadhu would never EVER desire such things." This is the first time I agree with you. An Ekantik Sadhu would never desire such things. But have you ever seen DESIRE in the eyes of Pramukh Swami? Have you ever heard him demand certain things? A devotee once baked him sweets to eat when Pramukh Swami visited his house. However, he accidently put salt instead of sugar! How awful would a sweet item taste if it was made from salt instead of sugar?! But Pramukh Swami never said a word and lovingly accepted the food. Does this show that he demands high luxuries? It shows his detachment from materialistic pleasure. This was in the 1950s when food was scarce and the monks often had to beg for food (and fast when they received none). I appreciate your concern for finding a true Guru. One should always be careful before accepting someone as your Guru, and you are doing just that. However, it's very important that you properly investigate before you make claims that degrade a great sadhu and saint such as Pramukh Swami. Read his biographies, and you will see. To destroy all of the sinful folk who were hurting mother earth. In order for this to happen there had to be a war (the battle of kuruksetra). The gambling match was one of the causes that made this war unpreventable thus fulfilling the Lord's will. Maharaja Yudhisthira was indirectly helping the Lord to fulfill His promise to Bhumi.
