Hello, In addition to his question, I have a question too. I'm a Brahmin - Iyer. Is is advisable to fix a marriage date in Mahalaya Paksham? SOme peopel suggest me that if the marriage is within the first five days it is ok. Also one more issue is my father passed away, but his thithi does not come in this Mahalaya paksham. Our josiyar gave Sep-6-2009 for marriage, but relatives talk the other way. So I wanted to have a opinion. CAn anyone reply me??? Please...
