I couldn't find the threads, where this was probably already discussed. I have two questions regarding Ayurvedic Schools: 1) Any idea why there isn't a major one in the Midwest? Chicago has a significant Indian population, yet no Ayurvedic School (and has several Traditional colleges!) Is it a bad business idea (not enough potential students)? Or some state regulations? 2) Anyone with experience of studing and graduating via distant learning programs? (which would be my option for the moment). This includes schools outside USA. My guru is strictly against using them. Because they are too powerful and can cause disbalance. However, he admits that this power canbe used for healing, when and if needed. He is strongly against mustard and hing.
