If followers of every religion truly observed

the teachings of their great Saints, the whole

world be an abode of love. People would be having

direct experiences of God. People would have love

for all humanity and all creation. There would be

no wars, no crime, no discord. There would be joy

and peace on our planet. Followers of each religion

would have tolerance, respect, and love for people of

all other religions. They would each recognize that

we are all children of one Lord, whether we worship

with our head covered or uncovered. They would each

realize we are all brothers and sisters in God whether we

worship barefoot or wearing shoes. They would realize

that outer customs can differ just as flowers in a

garden are multicolored yet all emit a sweet fragrance.

They would realize that the fundamental truth of each

religion is that God is love.

Throughout the ages, Saints and Masters come to this

world to remind us of the essential unity of all

religions. They come to teach humanity the eternal

truth that God is within us and He can be reached

through the Path of Spiritual Love. If we listen to

their simple message, we will learn how we too can

realize God and reunite our soul with the Oversoul.

Their first lesson is that God is all love. Before

creation came into being, God was an eternal Ocean

of Love. He was all blissful consciousness. It is

said that God wanted someone to love Him.

This yearning set the whole creation into motion. His

wish is expressed in Sufism as, "God said, 'Be,' and

it became." It resulted in a vibration, and the

vibration consisted of two primal manifestations,

Light and Sound. This Light and Sound is the Power

that brought all creation into being, from the

spiritual regions to the material realms as well as

this earth, humanity, and all species of life. It

is referred to in various scriptures as Word, Logos,

Kalam-i-Illahi, Saut-e Sarmad, Naam, Tao, or Shabd.

God separated drops of Himself to inhabit the various worlds.

These drops are called souls.....
