Hey, start thinking people! There isn't a Ramana ashram in Europe ? London is of course a very good location for a meeting for those living in Europe as flying to London from most European airports is relatively fast as well as reasonable. (1.5h from Holland, 2h from Copenhagen, 2.5 h from Frankfurt) I guess it wouldn't be too expensive inn terms of time and money for those living on the East Coast of the United States, but may be more difficult for those living further west ? I'm not familiar with the spiritual sights worthy of seeing in London, but it is a nice place to visit for secular pleasures. Hmmm.... India seems to be almost equally far away from both Europe and the US.... Meeting on the home turf of Ramana with everyone equally jet lagged and sweaty (with maybe the exception of Harsha, used to the climate) would have been appropriate. But perhaps more difficult than London or New York. Love, Amanda. Guest guest
Hi, You may not have heard me on this list before, I have just joined and do feel a wee bit out of my depth here. But I would love to meet people on this list and attend any form of meeting that could be arranged. I currently reside in Melbourne Australia but will be in The Hague from January. (Gotta brush up the dutch!) Blessings Steve Mclachlan

Guest guest
: Hi Jacqui, : : I see by your emaho that you may have some interest in Buddhism. In another : funny twist of meetings from lists, our Greg hopes to meet up with some friends : from our Buddhist list, the majority of them happening to be in Singapore. It's : just a short trip from Hong Kong. Who could have imagined at first, he would : actually be going there! Well, maybe he knew, but I sure didn't. So come over : and meet them and you will have friends already there when you go, too. : : Love, Gloria Hello Gloria, I made a search for a Buddhist list on , to find out there where 312 listed. I was wondering if you could point how to to that list. I would love it. Thank you, Antoine

For you and Jacqui who goes to Singapore, it is called Dharma-Direct and at our . They have offered to pick up greg at the airport and show him around and introduce him to various teachers too. What I like is that all the many forms and schools of Buddhism are respected equally there and people are very conscious of ahimsa with their discussions. Love to see you there Antoine! Guest guest
Jan: Yeah, I remember you saying it was difficult to fly out of the Canaries when the retreat was discussed this spring. Once again our Satsangh leader has suggested a good location for a meeting, since London is almost problem free in terms flight connections and language. I was going to suggest Paris or Berlin (the beautiful fast beating heart of Europe) as alternative locations, but these are less than ideal in those respects. Jessica: What is the Teslar watch and why do you need it to shield yourself from low freq's ? What is Elf ? Is that Elf Aquitaine ? I can agree that they are a bit scary indeed. What kind of readings do you do ? This sounds interesting, so please expound on these issues if you can. Thank you for the good suggestion, but I must admit: even though my body is quite sensitive to temperature and exhaustion, it is also not very sensitive at the same time, giving a sensory input to the mind which is about 70% reduced compared to the previous (normal ?) state and can easily be further lessened by the mind when necessary. Since I like it when there is a slight pressure to the body and mind (wouldn't be any fun otherwise), the prospect of a long flight and some jet lag does not bother me much. Love, Amanda. Guest guest
Did I miss something? Perhaps I haven't been paying as much attention as I should to some of the posts. Is the group planning another trip/meeting? Anecdotally, which I can attest to, it is claimed to prevent jet lag. If you're interested I can direct you to more scientific information. Amanda: What kind of readings do you do ? This sounds interesting, so please expound on these > issues > if you can. > jess: I came into this life extremely sensitive. For many years I did clairvoyant readings/healings. My clairvoyance primarily related to 'seeing' the energy field of the body/blockages in energy. This further led to 'seeing' 'held' beliefs; repeated thought patterns on the part of the client/patient, which obstructed the smooth flowing of energy throughout the organism. This led to a further study in medical Qi gong; interest and background in Oriental Medicine, which contributed understanding from a medical perspective as to what I was 'seeing', but the ability to transmit Qi(energy), or clairvoyant healing appeared to be with me long prior to my exposure to Oriental Medicine. However, I do not have to be in the physical presence of the person to 'read' or diagnose. Don't know if that expounds on these issues, (one parenthesis in eternity) but that's it in a nutshell. But as I have shared here before, one thing led to another and now ~ Advaita. Love, ~jessica
