Just quickly for now but a bit in depth (my bathwater is getting cold). Also I see that you have another post waiting for me. (later) Grounding really has to be started and done *with and in and on earth*. (The transcending part, touching the universe comes automatically.) *with and in and on earth*, in water also, in dirt (soil), grass. Our 'whole reality' can be divvied up into 'not just two or three' layers like the: mental and physical self or mental, physical and spiritual self or mental, physical, spiritual and emotional self. No, there are at least seven distinctions within our wholeness, each of which needs grounding and will then be supported by the previous and in turn will be supporting the next distinction. Each of these distinctions, when grounded will therefore automatically be universalised (so to speak.) Seven distinctions in our wholeness: Physical Creative Volitional (free will, clear mind) Emotional Vocational Inspirational/Intellectual Spiritual (These seven distinctions are energised by our 7 main chakras or energy centres.) Grounding starts from the bottom up. 1 When grounding one starts physically in a physical way, (Earth element). (Excremental huh? (Bare feet on the ground and in the mud, puddles, lake, sea, ocean. Walk, swim, hop, skip, dance, jumping on and in, enemas (huh?) 2 Keeping that, work on creative grounding (including sex tantric or not so tantric:) (Water element) (Urine, our digested foodmass, lower intestinal system, intestinal cleansing, sexual fluids) 3 Keeping that, work out body-will and body-mind power (urges, gut feelings, volition, instincts) (Fire element). This has to do with the application of physical mind and will (these are normally food and drink issues, digestive problems, also diaphragm.) 4 Keeping that, work out emotional relationships, (Air element) (Dancing together, sharing breathing space, hugging, embracing the male and female physicalities, weeping sobbing, laughter.) 5 Keeping that, work out vocational responsibilities, work related social aspects of your being (Space element) (Do you take too much or too little of a load on your shoulders. How are you functioning in circles of responsibility? How is your expression in that, are you talking truth to yourself and others? Are you hearing yourself and others truthfully and unbiased? Physical vibrations of voice and sound.) 6 Keeping that, work out aspirations and dreams, inspiration and artistic endeavours, intelligent aspects of your being. 7 Keeping that, you will find that spiritually you are already whole and integrated. The divine will just manifest to you and in you. THIS IS IT. You support humanly, and you are being supported divinely, *unquestionably and self evidently human/divine*. This is it. This reality of being with at least 7 integrated distinctions) This is very graduated work, ( but fun sadhana) as one works on and plays with one distinction, emphasizes one at a time, so to say, the other distinctions are quietly already reaping benefits. Doing, undoing and non-doing is being. So much on this for now. What I did Colette, I put 2 years worth of posts in the Files section of HarshaSatsang: /A+collection+of+Wim%27s+posts%2C +work%2C+pictures%2Cvisions%2Cmemories/ or try / and take it from there It is still a bit of a grab bag. There is some wonderfully strong and also weird stuff in there. If you want to know what I wrote so far on "emptiness, void and or form". Open one of my text documents and then type Cntrl F and enter a keyword. This will at some point get you to a spot that covers the topic. At points I sound like a arrogant SOB or quite self engrossed, but I am really an OK kind of person. Do I ever love!!! Wim You can get to it this way

I myself realised recently that Mother earth is there to help me ground, & I had an amazing experience in an inner city building at a grounding somatic dance class. So I could relate to Hillary's friends' experience. Like her friends, I felt it more alive & joyous, than what we live thinking we are here. > Grounding starts from the bottom up. > 1 When grounding one starts physically in a physical way, (Earth > element). Almaas' sharing - that it is undigested emotions that cause blocks really helped me. He explained that for any experience to be integrated we need to digest it. It's not just food he's talking about here! This is interesting because Maharishi Mahesh Yogi speaks of the Self digesting the Self ... & Ken Wilber talks of One Taste. So if we resist repress or denounce certain emotions - then they remain undigested. I had a really good time last night reading this book by someone called Rudolfo Scarfalloto who has written "The Alchemy of opposites". Wow I really loved how he explained the difference between neutrality & singularity :-) > I wrote: > > > It was also then that the immortality > > >(amrita) issue became clear and unquestionable, also the emptiness / form > > >conundrum as expressed by void and plenum clarified itself. > > >Thank you Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara! > > You asked: > > Please share what you discovered re emptiness & form. > > What I did Colette, I put 2 years worth of posts in the Files section of > HarshaSatsang: Yes I will check it out thanks Wim though I do think it can be valuable giving a present moment version .. > It is still a bit of a grab bag.
