Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Any member is welcome to add their picture on their own, and then you have control over whatever you put into files. That way your name is under the file, and you are easy to find. As best I understand this system, if I create a folder, only I can put stuff into it..so no one else could put photos into a "public folder" because there is no such animal. Look at some of the folders already in there to see what sort of folders others have contributed, and you can do your own folder if you have ideas for one. It is very easy to do, once you click on create a file (or folder), a browser window pops up and you click on browse to go into your own files. If you do not have a browser, or a way compatible with this system, you can email your jpg pics to me or Amanda and we will put them in for you. OK? Would love to see more happy faces! (You too Ivan, you are very handsome!) We have only used about half the space in KB's we have available. There are additional silent moderators here as well. They moderate us with their silence, I think. Gloria and I moderate by yelling. Just kidding. What you say about the shared files folders only being accessible for uploading to the one making them is new to me, but I have not uploaded any files yet. I think it should be possible to make a public folder where everyone so desiring can place their picture. If Gloria or anyone else do not have time to do this, I can take a look at it tomorrow (it is getting late here now) and see what I can do. However, there may not be need to make a separate folder for member pictures, people could upload simple pictures without putting them in a folder, there are a number of single pictures already there. I don't think we will have a landslide of pictures coming in all of a sudden unless a new retreat takes place. But having people add pictures would be great. I'll test the folders tomorrow.
