Guest guest
jb [kvy9] When "worldly life" as a whole is considered to be a BIG disappointment, everything is given up (no choice left) and that is a decisive factor for enlightenment because what is given up are all expectations relating to "worldly life". Without expectations, conditioning will start to fall apart and simultaneously, the monkey mind starts to quiet down. In this respect, the "BIG" disappointment is a BIG blessing in disguise... As an ex-anti-war activist I have quite some experience with unmet expectations A less common expectation is that the potential for relative improvement can be seen so clearly and yet nothing can be changed - a change happens on its own accord.
