When "worldly life" as a whole is considered to be a BIG disappointment,

everything is given up (no choice left) and that is a decisive factor for

enlightenment because what is given up are all expectations relating to

"worldly life". Without expectations, conditioning will start to fall apart

and simultaneously, the monkey mind starts to quiet down. In this respect,

the "BIG" disappointment is a BIG blessing in disguise...

Thank you Harsha. As an ex-anti-war activist I have quite some experience with

unmet expectations :) A less common expectation is that the potential for

relative improvement can be seen so clearly and yet nothing can be changed - a

change happens on its own accord.
