Actually, that's a strange picture... I don't know why I zoomed in so close up when editing it for the Web. The digital camera it was taken with was set at high resolution (1280x1024) which is pretty big for pictures intended for websites... I should have resized it in Photoshop. Guest guest
Hi, Family stuff is heightening again and I have little time for much else. Today, daughter who has recently been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and ex-hubby who is beginning to get frail are both gone with friends for the holiday and I get some blessed time alone. So I had a chance to look at Tim's website and there was something written that was so relevant....I am paraphrasing, not quoting....do sadhana in celebration of who you are...not to become something or to find enlightenment. That is something perfect for me as I have little time for sadhana practices and tend to view my life as the sadhana....the comment on how to approach 'formal sadhana' is just what I needed to hear. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
