Guest guest
Dear Linda, Enormous gratitude that the teachings on The Core have relevance for you. The sole "purpose" of The Core is to offer the possibility of relevance. Everyone has a certain disposition, and the teachings on the main page of The Core may or may not appeal to everyone (that's fine! Thousands of other websites/teachers/Gurus/realizers/etc are available, and likely at least one will be discovered that "resonates" with the person looking). "On the surface," it may appear that the main-page teaching is offering a sort of "shortcut" that doesn't exist, and discourages "earnestness" or "urgency." But a closer examination of your message shows that just the opposite is true. When even a single person finds relevancy in the teaching, the entire purpose of The Core is fulfilled... forever. Just *one* person. Love, Omkara , "LC" <jyotish@w...> wrote: > Hi, > > Family stuff is heightening again and I have little time for much else. Today, daughter who has recently been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and ex-hubby who is beginning to get frail are both gone with friends for the holiday and I get some blessed time alone. So I had a chance to look at Tim's website and there was something written that was so relevant....I am paraphrasing, not quoting....do sadhana in celebration of who you are...not to become something or to find enlightenment. That is something perfect for me as I have little time for sadhana practices and tend to view my life as the sadhana....the comment on how to approach 'formal sadhana' is just what I needed to hear. > > Linda
