The Meadow

There

was once

a beautiful meadow

beside a shining river,

and it's beauty

was so great

that it was decided

that a temple,

or church,

or statue,

would be built there

to honor such beauty

and in so doing

the beauty was removed.

But only until men

pass away

or grow wise.
