Chocolate also contains chemicals that are close to amphetamine and cocaine in

structure and effect and may affect women more than men due to heightened

sensitivity of these chemicals because of female sex hormones.

One can assume, though, due to the small amounts of these chemicals in

chocolate, that a dependency on chocolocate is caused by a combination of the

glucose content, the "uppers" and the expected reward of getting the chocolate

in the form of endorphins. :)

Certain strong spices such as varieties of chilli are also endorphin releasing

and may be slightly addictive as well. :)

Love,

Amanda.

Hey Amanda,

Chocolate also stimulates progesterone production which is an anti-stress

hormone. Anyway, I only indulge in the organic unsweetened, oh ok, it has

dried bananas in it kind infrequently, myself, although as a child I had

fantasies of diving into a swimming pool filled with chocolate and eating my

way out!!! Remember seriousness is pathological ; ) & THIS chocolate can be

a lot of fun! Try it u might like it! Tropical Source brand name. They have

others; organic unsweetened too!Sometimes, (depending on the partner of

course) it's better than sex!! ; ) and when there's no partner around ~

well, it helps! But I only advocate the unsweetened above! ; )

Just having some fun.

Love,

~jess

Hi Jess and Amanda,

I too think that Tropical Source is a powerful chocolate. If any women

want to compare this chocolate and sex you can come to Nova Scotia where

both are available in my kitchen.
