Guest guest
Being educated in the Western culture, and spending part of a total (MS) college career in a Presbyterian college, the above subject matter is most interesting to me. Before there was all the ready information (Internet) of today, "way back when" in Bible Studies (BS for abrev.), we had to compare OT with NT (lower nature versus higher nature), and the 4 Gospels with each other. Yes, everyone compares the "writer's (time) of Gospels" and argue thereof. For me, during BS, I privately continued the studies of three small books given to me in an airport (on my way to Vietnam '68-'70) B, Gita, Upanishad, and Dhammapada. Possibly it is because of all the above... but in the comparison of the 4 Gospels and of the three small books, I came (still have this thought) to a revelation... the 4 Gospels is telling a story of Body, Mind, Soul/Spirit, and Word... respectfully with Matt., Mark, Luke, and John... and the same with the Eastern philosophy dealing with body, mind, soul/spirit and Word - Krishna. Such (true or fantasy) has helped enhance my religious experience. Love, Robert Sobeit
