That sounds quite familiar Harsha. It could be called the "price" of forgetting "body"... Very painful nevertheless. There are many pain-killers, some working locally and others, orally. Not moving the affected parts would be best but those, spontaneously forgetting "body", easily forget that too. : :Tonight I have to teach and I can only do it with the help of this medicine. :Of course the way I will stand and walk in the class will look a bit funny :but that's okay. If a period of rest isn't possible, minimizing movement was (still is) my parole, no matter how silly it may look... I hope you'll recover soon... Love, Jan Thank you Jan. I suspect my experience is nothing compared to yours with the sliding scooter and the resulting injuries and I wish you well and speedy healing. Do you think taking DHEA would help you recover faster? There was a discussion on that a year or so ago. I will be quite OK in a week or so. Of course, one can easily get used to all the kind and warm wishes and the sympathy. Perhaps I will stretch this out a bit :-). Thanks again. Strange enough, pain release is effected by mechanical stimulation - I used such a device for the injuries caused by running as well. The DHEA could speed up recovery too... But as the doc at the emergency prescribed painkillers combined with anti-inflammatory drugs for three weeks, there is no expectation of speedy recovery And the anti-thrombosis injections aren't administered at all - too much hassle and dazzle. º ºI will be quite OK in a week or so. Guest guest
Funny how when people talk about illusion, they always mention yucky stuff like pain and suffering. It seems lots less popular to say that nice things are illusion too, like "sunsets and warm puppies," nice music, a lifelong love affair, a great meditation, and going to heaven. Hey Harsha-ji, what does DHEA do? Love, --Greg At 04:15 PM 12/8/00 +0000, jb wrote: > >On 12/8/00 at 10:14 AM Harsha \(Dr. Harsh K. Luthar\) wrote: > >[..] >ºThank you Jan. It lays the foundation for a bias - that many pleasant experiences can be nulled by one single unpleasant experience... The interpretation of pain does have a cultural color too..
