Guest guest
That is a beautiful picture Jan. Did you take it? Reminds me of Mace's poetry and pictures. Stunning! Thanks everyone for the color and flavor of your presence. The partial counting of those who have won the Academy Awards for spirituality this week is as follows: Ivan, Dan, David, Mace, Andrew, Jan, Jessica, Froggy Jacques, Amanda, Gloria, Pieter, Jerry, Robert (Skyryder), Robert (Zenbob), Mike, Mark, Luan, Greg, Janet, Mace, Linda, Magne Aga, JB, Jerrysan Rinpoche, Mary, Christina, Wim, Nora, David, Liliana, Bruce, Jerrysan Rinpoche, Angelique, Holly, Michael, Dirk, Jill, and rest of the gang plus the people I forgot. Thanks and love to all Harsha The sun neither rises nor sets Easily to be observed from outer space Yet the picture is suggestive of a sunset Phenomena arising and subsiding Like the sun seems to rise from the ocean and to subside in it Although that doesn't really happen Awareness neither rises nor sets Everything seems to arise and to subside in it Although that doesn't really happen Jan // All paths go somewhere. No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self. So I waited, saw the "pointer" and took the picture... In the mountains though, there is the possibility to see the sun set between two layers of white clouds - rather awesome, I've seen it only once but didn't have a camera with me Love, Jan Attachment: (image/jpeg) GOGHSB~1.JPG [not stored]

Ooooh, thank you, thank you !!! (wipes tears from eyes) I... I'm so surprised, I don't know what to say. I thank the acadamy for nominating me, my family, which I love so much, and my agent, for getting me here, of course. (air kisses to everyone) This is a little like being blind. None of the pictures come up on my mail server, so I have to imagine what they look like based on the replies people give. Love, Amanda. In that case, visit the website at Egroups.com, click "messages" and choose the ones with the pictures that didn't show. That goes for members of the digest as well.
