His Holiness The Dalai Lama in Toronto

Dear Dharma Friends,

 

We are organizing a Kalachakra Initiation to be given by His

Holiness The Dalai Lama in Toronto, Canada sometime in 2002 or 2003.

We need an estimate of how many people would attend to see if there

is enough interest to put on an event of this size. If you are an

individual, please let us know if you are interested in attending.

If you are part of a group, or can contact other people who might be

interested in such an event, please ask your community how many

people would be interested in attending this auspicious event.

 

The Kalachakra is the highest initiation and most auspicious to

receive. Most of us are not ready to receive it, so we take it as a

huge blessing from His Holiness. The Kalachakra would include 5 days

of teachings, and 6 or 7 days for the actual initiation itself. The

estimated cost is expected to be around $500, and Sangha will be half

price.

 

Again, we are only looking for a rough estimate of how many people

would be interested in attending, in order to see if there is enough

interest to hold this event. No commitment is expected at this time.
