Guest guest
The "moon" to watch for at this time is the new moon which falls on Xmas day around 12:30 EST. There happens to be an eclipse on this new moon cycle and it is a few days after the solstice. Taking place in the Gemini/Sagittarius (sidereal position) axis and following the energy of the solstice nerves may be frayed, energy low and more than the usual holiday craziness. It is an important time for meditation or anything healthy for stress management. The bija mantra for the moon could be chanted "Om Som Om" or if one knows it the Gayatri Mantra. This will be an interesting time for all. Linda On Tue, 12 Dec 2000, Harsha wrote:> There has been some talk of the full moon. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
