Guest guest
I remember writing on the 11-12-2000: << "Antardashar, the first group of ten triangles that surround the asthar, is also known as the Sarv Rakshakar Chakra - a chakra that provides all kinds of protection. Protection is achieved not from outer but from inner disciplines. In this chakra lies the power to protect because this chakra is the control room of all the five organs of action and five organs of sense. By controlling the ten indriyas, one gains protection from all external stimuli. In the ten triangle are seated ten Yonis (Shaktis). From Tools for Tantra by Harish Johari" This kind of approach could be compared to an hermetic approach, where the subject/object is invoked in order to regulate what there is to regulate outside of the "will" but yet in relation to it. A form of alchemical marriage of the sun and the moon. The fire of prayer uniting with the limpid water of peace and meditation. Yet something bugs me here, in the concept of protection... As I wonder if there ever was, is and will be something to protect oneself from... Lalita allow me to understand, as you may, all your splendor in Antardashar. >> Kalipadma wrote on the 12-12-2000: << As embodied beings with egos, we cling to what we perceive as our"identity." Many deities, especially Mother Kali and Mother Lakshmi, areshown with the palm-out, fingers upwards <abhaya mudra> -- the "have nofear" gesture. This is a reminder that, while the ego dissolves atdeath, the soul is eternal.Still, while we are embodied, we desire protection. There are manytraditions in Hinduism of <kavachas> -- "breastplates" -- prayers thatenumerate various bodyparts and possessions and ask specifically namedaspects of deity to protect these "possessions." Lalita, the Playful One, reigning at the center of the Sri Yantra, clapsher hands in amusement at the games that we embodied beings perceive as"reality.">> The next day, as I was working outside, on a snowy day, like usual I came to put my ladder against a brick wall standing on a icy floor covered by snow. As I arrived on top of the ladder, it started sliding from the base, away from the wall, standing up I saw the brick wall go up at an acceleration of G. Touching the ground my right ankle took the chock before projecting the rest of the body on the left side. The doctor prescribed me 4 weeks of walking with crutch. All this to say that I understand a bit more now the concept of protection in Antardashar. I find it a gift to be able to ask question and receive so direct answers. There is a place where each word or thought may become a manifestation. I do not ask others to find this place, but symbol are tools like so many others to form a language that may help to ask question and receive answer in a world where all possibilities are already present. May thoughts of love and health flow between each.
