Guest guest
Sant Rajinder Singh's Millenium Message for January 1, 2001 Millenium Message for January 1, 2001 We are now entering the first year of the new millenium, a time of great hopes and aspirations for an era of spirituality, peace and love. As we look around us, we find signs that the sleeping flowers are awakening and that spring is upon us. The mission of the great Masters of the twentieth century, Hazur Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj, Sant Kirapl Singh Ji Maharaj and Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj, is in full bloom. Hazur initiated over one hundred twenty-five thousand souls. Over one hundred fifty-seven thousand souls were initiated by Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj and Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj collectively. In the past 11 years, due to the powerful grace of the these great Masters working overhead, over three hundred twenty-five thousand souls have been initiated. In one century, we have seen over six hundred thousand people become connected to the Light and Sound of God. This is the largest number of people connected to Naam than in any other century throughout history. Each person who is connected to the inner Light and Sound is like a moving powerhouse on earth. The Light that shines from these souls affects the lives of all others with whom he or she comes in contact. It radiates in the form of love, peace, joy and selfless service. We find that those steeped in the love God reflect the love of humanity in their day-to-day lives. They are models of selfless service, providing help to those in need. We find they are examples of tolerance and respect for people of all faiths, thus planting the seeds of harmony where there was once discord. They demonstrate their love of animals, by living on a vegetarian diet. They bring about an atmosphere of peace by spending time in meditation. This way of life has already had an effect on the planet. We find that vegetarianism is on the rise. Each week we have more and more reports from scientists, doctors and nutritionists about the health benefits of a vegetarian way of life. We find more and more countries that were previoulsy embroiled in wars have taken to more peaceful approaches to solving conflict. We find a rise in humanitarian efforts. More and more people from all walks of life, all religions, and all cultures are taking up meditation as a way to add peace to their lives. For those of us who have been blessed with initiation into the Light and Sound of God, this New Year should be a time in which we reflect on how far we have come on the path, and how much further we need to go. It is a time of self-evaluation to see the areas in which we need to improve. We should take a measure of ourselves to see what weaknesses need to be weeded out. We should take a look at how much time we spend daily in meditation and try to increase that time significantly. We should evaluate how much time we spend in selfless service and see if there is anything more we can contribute to help make the world a better place. We should gaze at ourselves carefully in the mirror to see what kind of example of spirituality, peace and and love we are to those whom we meet. Let this be a year in which we work on ourselves so that the radiant Light, celestial Sound, and love of God flows through us to reach others. As we set foot in the new millenium, let us pray that we become humble servants of the Lord to continue God's noble work of spreading spirituality, peace and love to the whole world. Yours affectionately, Rajinder Singh _________________ To get your own FREE ZDNet Onebox - FREE voicemail, email, and fax, all in one place - sign up today at http://www.zdnetonebox.com
