I used to live in the country, but the tech explosion here in Northern Virginia has brought the corporate world to within 20 minutes of my house. Upside is the commute has gotten easy and I'm still in the country, and the price of real estate has shot through the roof. Downside is the population is exploding ... so, I've just enrolled in a degree program on the net, for an M.S., and Ph.D. and when it's done, I think I'll cash out and move to the beach. Hopefully, i can find work, and if not, i'll waitress <g>! Nice part of active k is the desire for wealth disappears, and the desire for beauty and lifestyle increases, glad you're enjoying decorating the new home, I must confess, I love my home here, stone fireplace and windows 40 feet across the front of the living room as I sit here in the morning in the sun and type.
