Thanks, Holly. My Father and Grandfather are buried in Portales. I may

have at least one uncle still kicking around somewhere in the state.

No doubt there are some cousins also. Due to my turbulent family

history I have no idea who those cousins may be. Heck, you could be a

cousin!

 

As a child I lived for short periods of time in Alburquerque and

Clovis. I am thinking of moving to either Taos or Santa Fe. I have

never been there. I understand that it is quite different that the

area around Clovis.

 

Have you ever noticed that there is a 'thread' streching out ahead of

you? I have. Right now that thread is pulling me toward NM. I want to

spend some time just writing. NM seems the right place to do that.

 

I would appreciate any information you could share about rents and

cost of living in NM.
