Guest guest
There has been talk about the recent earthquake in the western part of Gujrat in India. The earthquake was a large one and the waves were felt even a 1000 miles away. Areas close to epicenter suffered the most casualties. We hope and pray for everyone who has been affected. One of the past earthquakes that hit China some years ago was even more devastating with over 200,000 people killed. It seems not much can be done to prevent natural disasters and often they come without warning. This morning I spoke to Chitrabhanuji's secretary Mamtaji (at the Jain Center in New York). She told me that the phone lines to India have been busy. Through tears and laughter and through joys and sorrows, life flows on as that is the nature of life. May all beings be free from sorrow and enjoy the peace that passeth all understanding. Love Harsha

It hurts to know how little of the high tech or even the low tech means is available to save the victims. Love, Liliana

It is now estimated that the death toll will go up to 15,000 people. The numbers keep going higher it seems. We pray. Harsha
