Guest guest
Dear Pieter: I do not know if Harsha or Jerry are trying to "vilify" anyone or anything I believe they are simply keeping people informed. Spirituality is a big business and unfortunately there have been countless people hurt by the process of deifying teachers. When I do yoga the yoga I do is Kundalini yoga and the technology never fails me. I have also met Yogi Bhajan and he was very kind to myself and my family as was everyone else at the 3HO center where I took classes. Yogi Bhajan gave me a spiritual name and corresponded with me for a while but my primary teacher was not a Sikh though the technology is basically the same. The last time I saw Yogi Bhajan was at a small intimate gathering and he was depressed and looked me straight in the eyes and commented that his biggest mistake was starting a spiritual organization. Not having had any negative experiences with him I can not comment on the various accusations though they are so numerous that one has to wonder. However, a "Master" implies one has "made it" they have become the "self" and such a being would not be obviously depressed nor would they lose their temper and curse at people. This is where the problem lies, the teachings that Yogi Bhajan brought to us are wonderful for the teachings stand alone in truth, however, to present oneself as more, as enlightened, is not truth and becomes harmful to many. Ironically, the teacher I chose to go with also has gone down the same path as Yogi Bhajan and now presents himself as "there" and has the string of names to go along with the illusion. I believe Kabir said something to the effect "Listen my friend, millions seek the path but few will find the way" (not an exact quote). It is important for us all to realize that no one person can bring us home and to keep the various teachers in perspective as we travel. Namaste, Linda >Dear Harsha and Jerry,>As long as my experience is being used as a link to vilify Yogi Bhajan, >the >3HO community and the Sikh Dharma Brotherhood in general, here are some>other more elevating links I found for people to look at, while >considering>the pockross website Sponsor www. /joinAll paths go somewhere. No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
