Guest guest Posted February 13, 2001 Report Share Posted February 13, 2001 I suppose I'm left wondering, how much does it matter to me that Yogi Bhajan is financially and sexually unscrupulous? How do I feel now about doing the sadhana outlined by 3HO? I feel not as good about it today as I did yesterday before I was aware of YB's doings. A friend, an opera singer, Lisa Reagan, did a workshop with Yogi Bhajan, last Summer and has known him for a number of years. Lisa's not a cult follower, and she found the workshop interesting, worthwhile, and it lasted for a few weeks, I believe it was in New Mexico. She also introduced me to one of his disciples last winter, I found the "guru dev" to be humble, joyous, exceptionally energetic and not looking for anything like money, sex, women, etc. We did a group meditation, and he gave me a very powerful meditation to use to close a bit of my third eye which I found too open, and redirect the flow of the Shakti/Shiva firing at the crown towards my heart, then belly. In any event, I think to make accusations without facts is not appropriate, especially if you do not have proveable events that you are personally aware of or which can be authenticated.
