Not at all to disbelieve or disrespect Linda and Jerrysan (the Tulku of Tulkus)'s words in any way, but merely to express my own surprise and thoughts on this as it seems to me judging from my own experience with the Shakti energy odd that teachers should at all be able to "pump themselves up" with energy and have their egos dominate the continuation of direct energy "teaching" (guidance) as I see it, the more ego and assumptions how things should and should not be (as in desire for power) the more of a person is still in there the more impulse for control in the human sense the less the probability that shakti will awaken in the other and the less probability the process being one of efficiency I guess we are saying the same thing in many ways Love, Amanda. Guest guest
Hi Amanda: I understand your viewpoint and a few years ago I agreed with it. It was hard for me to imagine shakti working through a person who still had ego and power issues. That belief led me to pain and a life changing situation. As I look back I realize that many signs with my teacher were there and on one level I was seeing what was happening and running into conflict with the teacher because of it. On another level my belief in his ability with kundalini energy had me convinced that no matter how bizarre and cruel he had become there was a higher purpose because the shakti energy could not be wrong. One could even say that the shakti energy was on target within my self because I was pulled out of the situation so that I could continue my journey before it was too late. Since then I have fully come to understand that just like electrical force will light a room safely or cause a fire in the same room through faulty wiring kundalini energy can also run in a negative fashion. Robert Svaboda and David Frawely both write of this in the context of the balance of yoga and ayurveda. Ramana Mahrishi explains it very clearly when he speaks of the kundalini having to go through the crown but then come back into the heart for the process to be complete. Others who have also run into crisis with the teacher all speak of how over the years he lost his heart and has no compassion for anyone. My theory is that he has not brought the energy back into his heart but the energy is still strong and still active.
