You are still not into a normal use of language, are you? Please, try to use words that express your thoughts and whatever else you wish to convey, directly. The above is just another metaphor. Many of the sayings you use mean very little to me, English not being my first language. Many list readers are from various nationalities, many of them are not totally familiar with slang and the vernacular. Speak THE truth with truthful words IN your own words, or at least speak YOUR truth without resorting to tired sayings and ambiguous expressions. Now, I understand that you do not wish to talk to me, but I have no trouble talking to you... So what is your problem with me? You have done me no wrong, I have done you no wrong. If you cannot handle me, you cannot handle yourself. You do have a problem... do you actually know that? Unless you run away, we will keep running into each other... Guest guest
Dear Wim, Judi's use of language is perfectly effective and colloquially correct. Another way to say it is, "Every time your phone doesn't ring, you'll know it's me." If you've ever been spurned by a lover, or been in an unrequited love affair, you'll know how "on the mark" this way of expression is. I can tell you that from experience!!
