Guest guest
Tulku Jerrysan Rinpoche I know you asked a while ago in our discussion about teachers of various sorts and reputations, what exactly I meant by Kundalini being effective. You also listed various teachers that were acknowledged as such, but who later have been scandalized. After weeks of meditating on your question, Im now ready to submit an answer. By effective I of course mean K-Shakti bringing individuals to enlightenment and realization, by various means revealing their true nature and making this knowledge stable in the bodymind. Other effects of this process such as siddhi and paranormal events are side effects, as you know. As I see it, in this, personal power is not an option, because both the teacher and student should be aware the essential impersonality of what and who is acting. To believe Shakti is limited to only one body and emanating from there is like believing money grow on trees, its a faulty assumption. ) I hope you can forgive me that allegory. A true teacher doesnt need to harass or bother or in any other way use force on his students to break their egos or for other reasons of supposedly gain enlightenment. A true teacher does not need to utter a single word or gesture in order to teach. The entire job can and is left to the student himself, or more correctly, the students own K-Shakti. Let us say that the nature of this teaching first appears, at long range, as mild synchronicity or mild connection. Later on, there may be further alignment between teacher and student and various strange and coincidental events pointing in certain directions will happen and the connection between teacher and student will become stronger. The reason is, the same forces are at work in the teacher and student, in the student lesser so, but still the same will/being is behind it all. (K-Shakti works like gravity, like water always moving towards the ocean, there is only one direction.) With this kind of connection, not a single word needs be uttered between teacher and student for teaching to occur. It will happen seemingly by itself, fuelled by the inherent tendencies in the student (or those left in the teacher. Its not always easy to say who is the teacher and who is the student. ) ) thus, the teacher believeing it is his/her personal will at work is folly. In all of this, it can also happen, and Im not saying this is what has happened with the denounced teachers you mention, but just to further my views on teaching: with the kind of close connection between teacher and student I have mentioned, it can very well happen the student may become scared enough or prickled enough to leave because of what has been transpired, the student has faced something s/he just couldnt bear for the time being and leaves the teacher. This is of course an option too. No ones forced to stay with a teacher which feels wrong. In fact, with the kind of close connection between teacher and student which will be established, one of course does best in choosing a teacher with care. The selection probably also works according to the principle of birds of a feather flock together. ) Kind regards, Amanda. Who needs Cupid? Matchmaker.com is the place to meet somebody.
