Guest guest Posted March 13, 2001 Report Share Posted March 13, 2001 the beloved is like water “I am poured out like water…” -Psalms 22:14 the beloved is like water… look up and she is a pregnant cloud arising white sheets wafting, swirling and rippling majestically in dapple tinctured winds and currents look down and she is a vernal pool croaking with slimy reptilian fecundity mating in deep, dark , dank and dense wetness look into the four horizons and he is restless cool mountain water approaching, warm valley river muds retreating icy brine, a steely sea of resolve soft velvet, a taunting lagoon of seduction look into the four horizons and she is stillness the beloved is like water… look within she is a transparent tarn of innocence silver water darkly mirroring heaven look without he is infinite drops of ancient wisdon descending falling, penetrating and impregnating all of creation the beloved is not like water, the beloved is water the beloved is water water descending and retreating arising and approaching, still water still and still water moving the beloved is not water, the beloved is living water running water calling and still water listening, water always moving and always awaiting the beloved is water beckoning us to come and drink, and discover that we are not stagnant, but living water the beloved is and is not living water the beloved is the living water in us we are the living water in the beloved we and the beloved are the living water blessed are we when we know that we are the living water oh my beloved, come to me that i might drink from your lips and so drinking never thirst for your sweet love again, ever! mark christopher valentine (march 13 2001) i ready to float slowly downward making ready to descend my mind runs run on my Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
