Guest guest
HelloMark and others, I already had another experience of this kind. At age 18, october 11th 1967, I spent 52 hours on the mountain Dru (Charpoua refuge side) on the Frova way. During the ascent, my friend Bertrand, 18 too, died falling from about 150 m. I spent the second night alone on the Dru. I descended alone with only a 10 m rope, a broken pitoon and three rope rings of 50 cm in diameters. By chance I was trained climbing and even sleeping along on the vertical. That was my first experience of death. About 12 of my friends died of exploration accidents (drowning, falling, decompression accidents). Most of them were much better than I was. So I just dont know if I am afraid of dying. Working on Kundalini makes you think there is a bigger elsewhere you wish to explore. But I am sure that gave me stamina and that I sometimes faced things I perhaps wouldn't have faced otherwise. So thank you for loving 'The Gopher's Death' on my site. I have a few other scary true stories of mine but none as intense.
