Guest guest
>> I will try to post the Indian Tea recipe for stomach ailments for you Jerry. My mother always mentions it. It involves putting Fennel seeds, Ginger Root, Cinnamon, and a vitally important seed called Ajwain... >> This sounds wonderful. Where will you post it? One of my favorite teas is Chai (traditional) served very hot, and I like it without the milk, though I know the milk is supposed to be part of it. There is also a very wonderful tea called Yogi Tea, originated I think by Yogi Bhajan's group. If anyone knows how to make this tea, I would be so happy because I cannot find it in my neck of the woods (podunk, Idaho). I too have gastrointestinal challenges, among other health issues, and I often have to take extra medication for it, though I already take daily medication to keep some of these at bay. I find that eating prasad helps. I make my own, since I do not have my guru close at hand, nor a temple or satsangha for puja. When I meditate or sing or do anything I feel is celebrating the Divine, sometimes I offer fruit. I light candles. The next day, or sometimes a few days later, I eat the fruit, and sometimes also share it with my hubby. It always is wonderful. Guest guest
Hi again Linda, <nierika > I too have gastrointestinal challenges, among other health issues, ... > ... celebrating the Divine, sometimes I offer fruit.... > ... a day, or sometimes a few days later, I eat the fruit, and sometimes also share > it with my hubby. ... I knew it, (gi trouble) see my previous post. Tapas, will, is connected with the solar plexus energy centre, gastro-intestinal tract problems are stemming from it... so please read the diet and recipe part on my webpages. You need loads of full spectrum digestive enzymes (double the usual dose at least for a year), the fruit breakfast part is especially important. The fact that you eat the 'offered' fruit "a few days later" is not just coincidental... the enzymatic action has increased. Fruit is food for the divine and to humans it is offered so that they may reclaim their divinity (the Adam and Eve story unsoured and put right.) Love, Wim Have an apple on me... let it go brown a bit first though :-)
