Guest guest
THE HEART:The Heart is to the body what the sun is to the world.Just as the sun gives light to the moon, the Heart lights the mind.A mortal absent from the Heart sees only the mind, just as the light of the moon alone is seen at night when the sun has set.The mind of the knower, abiding in the Heart, is merged in the consciousness of the Heart like the moonlight in daylight. --- Ramana Maharshi Attachment: (image/gif) Embossed Rose Green Background.gif [not stored]

Guest guest
Hi Wim, Yes! Isn't this exquisitely beautiful. In some way all the sages say, "Know Thyself" and here Ramana says that is happening NOW. Even when one is confused - if one can know that one is confused, there is clarity and nothing needs to happen - And nothing happens - end of confusion. I feel that the most difficult thing to see is the elusive obvious - the 'what is'. I feel that when most folks hear 'know thyself' they interpret this as 'something' to be attaind and this 'seeking' is the movement away from 'what is'. Guest guest
Hi again Wim, I sometimes ask folks: 'How could you possibly be anything other than what you are?' Someone will eventually say, "By being impossible" . and I say, "Yes you are."
