I know well of the story, but never actually knew there was a book about it. When I was a girl in Catholic school, one of the nun's who taught us told this story. It was very simple and elegant in showing the truth that has come from the mouths of many avatars...we must be like children to know the Divine. I never forgot this story, and now, sometimes when I want to be with the Divine or with my Guru, Amma, but I am not going to actually meditate in a formal way, I think of it as "sitting with Amma." This is my version, I guess, of "Hello, God, this is me...Linda." Sometimes, I even find myself saying those exact words, though I might say Amma, or Shiva, or Divine Father, or Divine Mother in place of God. Yes!
