Guest guest
YUM!!!! Love, Mrck Erai (hee, hee...) open, open, open at last! Hi Ermkaric... Rickmer... >I think it is worthwhile keeping that desire to forgive in mind >(cultivating it). While Harsha's suggestion that healing happens when >it is ready to happen seems true here, I also find the idea that healing >is ready to happen when I have practiced it and made it welcome, which >happens sooner when I keep it in mind, than when I cultivate hatred, >anger and fear.... Yes... forgiving is so important to our own healing and growth... and so difficult. If someone did something to us years ago, it's easier to really forgive and get over the feelings entirely... clear them completely. But how do you forgive completely if you still see the effects of the actions in your life... or in your child's life? It's very, very difficult... I was finally able to forgive everyone who had ever hurt me or mine in this and all past lives. And the only way I found to forgive everything was to understand that I have also made mistakes, in this life and in other lives, and forgive myself... and the others too. The books say that the basic energy of our solar system is love ( or they call it love/wisdom). And it's so... this world really is about love. We all come into incarnation to learn to love better and more wisely (through, or as well as, whatever service we may have planned). And life in this world isn't easy... it isn't easy to grow up here... and sometimes we are hurt and warped... sometimes we are taught unfortunate things... and we make mistakes... get off on the wrong track. But we were trying to love and learn to love more and better. I have made mistakes myself, in this life and in other lives... I have done terrible things... and I forgive myself... I was trying to learn to love better, and I forgive myself for the mistakes. In the same way I see that all the people who have hurt me also came into incarnation to learn to love better... they were trying... and they made mistakes... and I forgive them too. I love them all... forgive... and let go. Love and let go... love, forgive, let go... that's important. Open hands, open heart...
