Guest guest
Dear Maureen (and Elsbeth), (Elsbeth, I will write more about how angels conceive, this is a bit of an intro.) Jesus must have been and felt himself a little nut.. Why not, maybe he was even a bit squished at conception. Gabriel did not leave Mary much choice but complying willingly... Jesus must have known he was an insignificant little mustard seed, a kind of weed really... Then he learned to look at the lilies in the field and the daisies... as the apocryphal story writes about, when he played with little John... considering already, early on, blood on people's fingers. There is a miracle behind pain, pain comes with the unwelcome or unwanted metamorphosis in the miracle. When we welcome conception wholeheartedly as a metamorphosis leading into birth, the little 'nutty sperm' becomes a little blissed out at meeting the little 'egged on' ovum and both go a little nuts... (translate 'as above so below ' into 'as in large so in small'), the nut thinks that the ovum is hard to crack... the ovum figures that the nut is.... We (!) take it from there... and morph into each other...Me (!) W / M Jesus must have intensively felt what compliance to the processes of nature meant to Mary and Gabriel. It must have been a dicey thing this commission that Gabriel had to fulfil... He must have surrendered fully to his task... "Hey, this could be nice!" :-) but also... messengers can also be shot... :-( In Jesus' case the message was nailed to the cross... (+) with a scroll at the top (~) INRI (There is a lot more to this little scroll than we think...) Good Friday and Easter coming up...
