Guest guest
>> Finally, I think acceptance is the healing << I agree wholeheartedly. Those moments when I can finally accept...whatever it is I am rejecting, hating, judging, fearing...etc...those are the moments of At-one-ment. We are, finally, bliss. Shanti ~ Linda ...P.S. I remembered : )
Guest guest
>> The soul who presented itself as my daughter has been my greatest teacher this lifetime so much so that often I feel an entire book could be written. << Oh, Linda...perhaps you will one day write it, or if not a book, then an article. Just from the eloquence of feeling I receive from your few words about your experience with your daughter, I know that so many would benefit from your journey together. I say this with deep feeling because I have struggled with mental illness most of my life (which was never diagnosed until I "came down with" the panic disorder in my stress laden job). I know that not only would parents, families and caregivers benefit from your story, but so would all the other "daughters," sisters, brothers, mothers, etc. who have been on the other side of the outstretched hand. If it is to be, it will... just want you to know I will be first in line if it is ever in print. Blessings ~ Linda P.S. I would very much like to know about your spiritual name, Deva Anju. Guest guest
>> "When a part of the One discovers it is not apart from the One is that the same as being the Whole?" << This reminded me of one of my favorite Sanskrit prayers/mantras. I don't even know where it comes from, only that it is part of the arati (closing prayers) that are done as a part of puja as via the example of Ammachi. Whether this prayer is always part of any arati, I don't know, but I love it so much, even the way it sounds. (I will give the sanskrit transliteration first ~ as taken from "Light of Consciousness" magazine; then their translation, then the translation that is used by Ammachi's devotees, which you will see relates to your comment above. Also, whenever I read the Ammachi translation, it makes me smile everywhere.) Okay...here goes. Om Purnamadah purnamidam Purnat purnamudachyate Purnasya purnamadaya Purnameva vashisyate Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti "Light of Consciousness" translation: That (invisible) is Perfect This (visible) is Perfect Perfect has come out of Perfect Although Perfect has come out of Perfect, still it is Perfect Peace, Peace, Peace Ammachi Translation*: That is the Whole, this is the Whole; >From the Whole, the Whole arises; Taking away the Whole from the Whole, The Whole remains. Peace, Peace, Peace *I say "Ammachi Translation" not to mean it is her own personal one, but that it is the one said during pujas where she is present. Shanti ~ Linda
