This one sounds wonderful. Oh, I would love to actually hear it. I appreciate your response to my question. I would love to have the url for the Ramana Maharshi site. Interestingly, the same evening I wrote that question, I picked up a (back issue that I had ordered) of "Light of Consciousness" magazine. (This, by the way, everyone, is WONDERFUL. It has articles by people from all faiths, even though it is a publication of Swami Jyoti's "Desert Ashram." Anyhow, they haven't a website, so if anyone is interested in info on how to obtain this publication, post a note or email me, and I will let you know.) Okay...I looked at the cover, and one of the lead stories was the "Sage of Arunchula." I got chills. I haven't read it yet; it was simply enough to see another photo of Ramana. The one I am most familiar with shows just his face and a bit of his shoulder; he is looking directly at the viewer with a smile, and he is just Light. This photo was a picture of the whole Ramana, sitting on a stone wall, with one arm wrapped around a walking staff. This picture was very different (to me anyhow). He was looking directly, smiling...and he looked just like the cat who ate the canary. Anyhow, I loved it. Shanti ~ Linda

There was one in particular that is meant to be a postcard that when I looked at it simply moved me in many ways.....we are all so fortunate to be able to experience the grace of His teachings...on the back of the card it says "ARUNACHALA! Thou Dost Root Out The Ego of Those who Meditate on the in the Heart, OH ARUNACHALA!" Namaste, Linda /joinAll paths go somewhere. No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
