Perhaps one thing could be more wonderful... if "Tim" were shouting "I Love You" to all of himself, unconditionally, incuding imperfections, memories and emotional overtones". And then I would know that this Love also would incude complete unconditionally acceptance of my own less glorious moments past, present and yet still to come - smile. Guest guest
And what I had to say on the Nisargadatta list this morning is Here still,Now still... and I offer it to you:"If i could spend the rest of my days shouting 'I Love You' from therooftops to everything that moves... what could be more wonderful thanthat? What other reason for existing could there possibly be?"Love,Tim Dear Tim, Welcome back in whatever incarnation we may find you... Indeeed, it has been said that all of existence is this shout of love, once we learn not to be fooled by the apparent static. This list has lately been infused with new energy from new members, and some old friends returning, like Niereka and JustLynette and Dharma and Lobster(!). Good yo have you among us again, too. Guest guest
Dear Gloria et. al, I remember Dharma well (and hope I remember correctly that Dharma is female)... She said something that was a sort of beginning, in a sense she showed where the 'yellow brick road' starts -- I was inquiring about meditation, and she said something very simple.. something along the lines of "you need to try to go beyond the mind somehow..." That was all it took. That was a 'touchstone' if you will, that was Grace speaking. Of course the 'journey' was 'mine', but without that touch of Grace (and the resulting 'spiritual experience(s)' that kept interest high)... To conclude... something did 'go beyond the mind' at that prompting of Grace... and it was enough to continue what Nisargadatta calls 'earnestness', or maybe just intense interest -- in something that seemed at the time dry, 'far out' and almost nonsensical. Guest guest
Dear Wim, Thank you too... I don't know what the current focus is here on (if anything like on the other lists I assume it changes and is in constant flux) but it will be enjoyable to participate in the spirit of Satsangh with everyone.
