the lover’s hunger

“His strength shall be driven by hunger

and destruction shall be at his side.”

-Job

18.12

Oh my readers,

i beg and implore and beseech you

come let us seek the beloved together

come with me,

come let us follow the beloved,

come with me into the rock garden

together we will destroy the chaos in our minds

raking the rangling delusions of our bent thoughts

into neat furrows barren of sweet juicy mortality

come with me

in the stony garden of the beloved

come let us play among the boulders

together we will create a new order in our hearts

chisel and polish erratic dreams of our broken desire

create a secret abode where nothing can always abide

come with me

let us play as titans pitching thunderbolts

come let us satisfy our immortal

hunger

for my love for the beloved is stronger than marble

it is stronger than the chaos and order in the garden

it is love hunger bitten, implacable and will not move

come stop with me.

come let us breathe together

come let us suck the aether of pure marble

let us sit the sitting of eternal stillness as gems of fire

let us breathe the dark fluidity of chaos into silence

the chaos of silence into the brilliant fluidity of order

blessed are we when we do hunger and thirst

when we do thirst and hunger we are blessed

for higher love the beloved promises the lover

the beloved is one who completes the straight line

who carves the farrows gently, tenderly, so softly

rakes that which is straight into a circle of fullness

when we do thirst and hunger we are blessed

blessed are we when we do hunger and thirst

for the love promised by the beloved her lover

for the beloved’s love is endless as a first circle

begetting another circle within another circle again

circles spiraling all the way and all the way down

What, my reader

you beg and plead that way is too hard

the rocks in the garden many, heavy

and hard

Silly you,

your strength is already bitten by hunger

and chaos is already being destroyed

inside

the love you feel is the love of the beloved and it must needs arise

come with me into the rock garden

at least follow me as i follow my true beloved

come, come abide with me as i abide in

my beloved

_

Hail Maria, Goddess of Water and the silvery Moon

Queen of the Garden of Birth becoming Death arising

Arising from nothing into something into divine love

Pray for us who are bitten with hunger for higher love
