>> "My motto" is "let come what comes, let go what goes." I am not

driving the train. It seems I was chasing a train... then I was

aboard the train and not in control of anything... and I have

'become' the train, and nobody is at the wheel, and life is 'living

itself'. <<

Thank you for providing this metaphor. I have had all these

relationships to the "train" and several more besides: standing in

front of the train in an attempt to STOP it; laying down on the track

in a futile attempt to rid myself of "I" and it's suffering; grabbing

onto the caboose and trying to slow the train down...all, of course,

futile. A few years ago I got off the train altogether (or thought I

did). Reading your words, I realize all these relationships to the

train, except becoming it, are my attempts to establish a

relationship to the train and still keep my little "I". Hmmm... train

puja as an intermediary step, perhaps. Shanti ~ Linda
