Like Mark, I began to feel that working in science wasn't the right thing any more a while ago, so I started taking classes, more art and design oriented. It's been great learning something more hands-on based and creative than the theoretical work of science. It's like getting a new voice for expression. How are your pets doing in the (no longer) new place ? My family's cat is getting old and she's had to pull a great number of teeth and has had a series of antibiotics cures to get rid of tooth and gum infections (which we at first didn't realize were there), but she's still going strong and still playing like a kitten. She must have something like 500 different facial expressions, from grins to disappointment and she makes us laugh all the time. Pets are a great joy, aren't they ? The grounds for any kind of mentioning of advaita or non-dualism in Norway are as poor as always. It could be the bad weather. The ancient Norse gods would perhaps have an easier time regaining lost faith in this country than the Indian gurus ever could. With the recent sun storms, we had aurora borealis even as far south as here. There wasn't much to see, nothing like the real northern lights, but it was great seeing what was there anyway.
