I'll bet it was great fun!!! It reminds me of one of my first encounters with animal research. My high school class went on a field trip to Yale University, and for some reason we saw the chimpanzees in the research facility. I remember being startled by chimps in cages with what looked (to a high school student ) like corks in the tops of their heads (I presume these were electrode connections and that we were seeing animals being involved in brain research.) I also was stunned by the attitude of the chimps in cages who seemed quite angry and were giving us the finger. Ah well, I'm not so surprised anymore. Your encounter sounds more pleasant, but similarly educational. My only question is how do you know your new friend has no concepts or beliefs? Could that be projection? (sounds like a belief to me) Love, Mark ps I can just see you two grinning at each other! YUM!
