Guest guest
No you. No me. No god in heaven. Joy abounds! I dunno Michael...I feel the very same way about my dog, Pepper...that you felt about the lovely chimpanzee girl. What a wonderful story. I do think that animals speak to us of the eternity that is...The amazing thing about Pepper is that, one day he just showed up in the trailer park where I was living. I had only just found out that this was a favorite dumping ground for people who wanted to get rid of unwanted pets. (Some very sad moments seeing a car drive off, and two dalmation puppies frantically chasing it down the road...and stopping to pick up a BIG dog that was wandering in the middle of the road...going to every house to see if it belonged to anyone.) I fell in love with Pepper right away, but I felt he must belong to someone. So I wandered all over the park asking everyone if he belonged to them or anyone they knew. Finally one woman said, "oh, he just arrived this morning; he was dumped." Like it is a fact of life here like the rain making the onions grow (which, in fact, it is). So I took Pepper home (reported him to the local vet and police just in case someone had reported him lost). He is an angel, sometimes full of life, coaxing me to romp even when I don't feel like it; other times, just looking at me with his funny grin and his eyes all sparkling. Anyhow...your experience makes sense to me...a lovely gift. Shanti ~ Linda
