Thanks and Welcome

We welcome new members like Pamela and thank everyone for their presence and

warmth. Thank you Mira and Mark (While Wolfe) and Barg for sharing some

original and beautiful poetry. I loved Merton's poem as well and your

interpretation of it David (Hodges). It was nice to hear of your visit David

to Susan Dane's seminar and your meeting Victor there! I remember both you

and Victor so vividly from the last retreat, although you only stayed a

short time David. Victor and I had a chance to talk and take some nature

walks at the Providence Zen Center and his utter curiosity and laughter was

contagious. What a wonderful time,

 

This reminds me that I am planning to be in Washington DC the first week of

August for 5-6 days for a conference. Maybe it will be a good time to meet

some of our old friends again.

for your wonderful quotes, and Linda, and Beth, Holly, and Lobster, Jacques,

Hey, Nora and Gloria, I am still finishing off the various teas from the

last retreat and am tempted to give you the latest reports on the Darjeling

green and black teas.

 

Thanks Hur for sharing on Nisargadatta. The clarity of "I AM THAT" is

striking for many.

 

Thanks Greg and Lynette (now we know that ego is in the blood) and, Jan and

James for some brilliant posts and Wim, Dee, Amanda for your characteristic

insights and humor and Michael for the Ha ha and the ho ho!
