Whatever is doing is all about money and nothing to do with free

speech, but everything to do with those little ads on every email.

There are 781,323 groups with who knows how many members total... but

that is what has to sell to advertisers... US, their

rs to these lists.

Well, I caught something on the news today about how is now going to

start charging for phone-based email. Didn't hear any details... I assume

that means they'll charge the people who use for email - and not the

lists. Can't imagine them trying to get billing info for everyone on all

the lists.

 

Seems like a lot of changes happening at ... wonder what's going on?

Yeah and with all the dot coms folding, we can expect more ads and

more restrictions on formerly free services like space for shared

files etc.

 

I hope it won't get to the day Harsha has to pay to keep the list

here.
