Guest guest
What do you say/see ? wow Jb... such a complicated question.... there is something here that makes sense, but my gut instinct tells me that we are all that we are, here in this life, but someone else another life, and there is a pure love consciousness that transcends this life to the next to the next to the next, and so on.. I also believe that a part of us will carry to each lifetime, something that is inherently us. Perhaps this is not the question you are asking..... but it is the answer I have for me. Guest guest
Hi jb, Good question! Well, this is the way I see it, for what it's worth... Firstly, I don't think it's possible to be conscious without being conscious *of* something, even if that something is something as simple as 'bliss'. It seems to me that if one is conscious of something, then there is probably some sense of an 'I' that is seperate from that something, as well. If one was to become so enlightened as to completely lose one's sense of self, then I don't think one could remain conscious at all... after all, *who* would be conscious? btw, I don't mean this to rule out reincarnation at all. And this is only what I think today, of course! <g> gill
